CLE Description:  Buy-in from influential leaders is critical to the success of a diversity and inclusiveness (D+I) initiative. Since straight white men still hold most of the positions of power and influence in legal organizations, they are essential “allies” and “champions” who can help leverage your D+I efforts.

  • In this CLE, attendees will learn:
  • Practical ways to gain support and cultivate these fundamental relationships.
  • How unconscious bias impacts attorneys and staff at all levels.
  • How to mobilize allies and champions to educate peers about unintentional impacts of bias and hidden barriers to success.
